A Forensic Interview is a neutral, child friendly, fact-finding interview designed to assist in the investigation of abuse and neglect cases while minimizing additional traumatization of the child victim.
A Victim Advocate will help the non-offending family or caregivers to fill out paperwork and understand the investigation process. Victim Advocates also accompany families to court proceedings and provide families with resources that may be helpful to them.
The CAC can assist in the acquisition of a medical exam when necessary.
The CAC can make a referral to an appropriate counselor for the child or non-offending caregivers in order to assist in the healing process after abuse or neglect occurs.
The CAC is proud to be able to offer our community FREE educational courses. We offer these to any group, school, or club that may be interested in learning how to spot the signs of abuse or make a report.
